Call to Action for the Neustadt Art Festival 2019

Ahoy landlubbers,from September 27 to 29 the 8th Neustadt Art Festival will take place. We are already hoisting our sails for this and are looking for new crew members in order to find new open spaces in Dresden’s Neustadt and beyond. With your help, we want to create an arts and culture festival for everyone far off from the commerce. Whether you are a HfBK student, an autodidact, or a hobby painter – on the NAF cutter everyone is welcome.
Do you play an instrument, sing, paint, solder, glue, dance, screw, drill, perform, or are creative in any other way? Do you have a bar, a studio, a club, a cellar, an attic, or a similar space that you would like to make available? Then radio your coordinates to us. The deadline is September 26.
The NAF crew will support you with the execution, connect you with other participants, and promote your event in the program, via the NAF app and the website. The press deadline for the program is September 7, the website and app will be updated until the start of the festival on September 27.
In order to refund all expenses, we will initiate a crowdfunding which will run until the beginning of the Neustadt Art Festival and has great rewards in store.

The Neustadt Art Festival 2019 will take place from the 27th to the 29th of September. After the Bunten Republik Neustadt we start our call to action.

Liebe Menschen,
wir bedanken uns bei allen, die dieses Festival zu dem gemacht haben, was es ist. Wir haben viel positives Feedback erhalten über die verschiedenen Orte und das Gefühl, dass das NAF nun eine feste Größe in der Neustadt ist. Das Programm ist bunt und vielfältig.
Für uns als Organisatoren hat nun die Nachbereitung begonnen, das heißt Fotos auswerten, Webseite archivieren, Berichte einholen und schreiben, Fördermittel abrechnen, Rechnungen und Erstattungen sammeln und bezahlen – all dieser Kram, der das Festival im Hintergrund möglich macht.
Nach dem Festival ist ja nun auch vor dem Festival. Denn die Förderanträge für 2019 sind bereits gestellt, das Datum steht auch schon: der 27. bis 29. September 2019. Wer sich einbringen möchte in die Organisation für 2019 halte sich ab Januar für die ersten Orga-Treffen bereit. Die Ankündigungen dazu erfolgen wie gewohnt auf dem Verteiler, der Webseite und Facebook.

Dear people interested in art and culture,
from September 28 to 30, the seventh Neustadt Art Festival will take place in the district “Äußere Neustadt”. All residents as well as artists and cultural workers are called upon to show, experience and participate in exhibitions, concerts, workshops, theatre, dance events and much more at various locations in Dresden’s Neustadt.
You play an instrument, sing, paint, solder, glue, dance, screw, drill, perform or are creative in any other way? You have a bar, studio, club, cellar, attic or similar space you want to provide for the festival?
Send us your ideas by September 27. It doesn’t matter whether you want to find like-minded people, need another event room or are looking for an artist.
The NAF organization team will help you with the realization, connect you with other participants and advertise your event in the program, in our NAF app and on our website. The editorial deadline for the printed program is September 7th, the website and app will be updated until the start of the festival on September 28th.
So that expenses can be refunded to the participating artists, there will be a crowdfunding, which runs until the beginning of the Neustadt Art Festival and offers great rewards.
