She likes noisy indie rock and traditional folk, and has a soft spot for gloomy stories and dry humour. DaYW songs take unexpected turns, oscillate between fragile and loud, and combine catchy tunes with minor modes. The album <em>I HAVE TO GO HOME<\/em> (2021, Bohemian Strawberry) was warmly received by German magazines\/websites such as Spiegel Online, Rolling Stone, VISIONS, and Kaput Magazin. The third DaYW album <em>GHOST GEAR<\/em> (2023\/24) bothers little with conventional song structure. Instead, it steps more frequently on the overdrive pedal while pondering the darker side of human nature or the eccentricities of the English language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-social-links
