Suddenly, they were there.

You’re sitting there, relaxing and drinking your morning coffee—and all of a sudden, a little green creature climbs out of your bag. It announces that it’s moving in with you. And that a few more friends will be joining soon.

Ever since then, my apartment hasn’t just been my apartment.

Hand puppets, marionettes, and all sorts of strange characters and figures from different worlds have made themselves at home here. Some are small, some are big. Some are friendly, some are a bit quirky. And of course, they all have minds of their own.

So what do you do with so many characters under one roof?

You start a theater.

Welcome to Fellchen’s Figuratorium!

At WERK.SCHAU.FIGUR—With Figures Under One Roof —the “roommates” introduce themselves. You’ll get a glimpse into the diverse world of puppet making and puppetry—lively, playful, and sometimes quite surprising.

After the show, you can get to know the puppets up close and take a peek behind the scenes.

For grown-ups, kids, and everyone in between.
