Astrid Bergström is a painter and visual artist who lives and works in Dresden. In her work, she explores the forms, structures, rhythms, and patterns of nature. She translates organic lines and forms into her own visual language that straddles the line between recognizability and abstraction.

After studying music and working for several years as a musician and violin teacher, she studied fine arts at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts from 2019 to 2022.

Her artistic focus lies in painting, hand embossing, and working with paper. At the same time, her approach is open and cross-media. She experiments with various techniques and materials and their respective creative possibilities.
