Seraphine Detscher was born in Heidelberg. She received her diploma as a dancer at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden in 2011. In 2012 she started her first engagement at the Semperoper in Dresden. This was followed by engagements at the Thoss Tanzcompany and at the State Theatre in Wiesbaden and Darmstadt. There she danced in the ensemble in choreographies by Crystal Pite, Alexander Ekmann, Marcos Morau and Itamar Serussi Sahar, among others. Since summer 2017, she has been involved in various choreographies by Malcolm Sutherland, Canan Erek, Detox Production, Pinkmetalpetal Production and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden with the production of “Macbeth” by Christian Friedel. With the 4roomsCompany she is active in Dresden’s dance scene both as a dancer and as a choreographer in theaters such as the Societaetstheater, Projekttheater and the Festspielhaus Hellerau with the dance theatre productions “Loops”, “Vier Konflikte”, “houseofchange” and “RevoTanz”. In addition to her dance career, she teaches children and adults ballet, contemporary dance and Pilates.
