With drawn and painted views of the Old Jewish Cemetery.
On 29.9.2024 at 3:00 p.m., the opening of the new now 3rd exhibition “Witnesses of History” will take place in the event rooms of HATiKVA e.V. Drawn and painted views of the Old Jewish Cemetery in Dresden Neustadt will be shown. The exhibited works are the results of the painting and drawing course offered by riesa efau and HATiKVA, which took place in June and July. The artist Gabi Keil led this workshop and is looking forward to presenting the resulting images together with the participants.
The musical accompaniment of the exhibition opening will be provided by the trio “La vache qui rit”.
Heike Liebsch will give a brief insight into the life of the miniature painter Jeremias David Alexander Fiorino, who was famous throughout Europe at that time. He died in Dresden in 1847, and his grave is located in the Old Jewish Cemetery.
The event is part of the 13th Neustadt Art Festival.
